Bev and Austin owned and operated Ski Haus for 40 years. In May Tiffany and David Bumstead purchased Ski Haus and are excited to continue the traditions and values Bev and Austin built this business on. New Owners ~ Same Great Values.

They were, and we still are a Christian family owned and operated rental business, just 3 blocks from Snow Summit in Big Bear Lake.  We are grateful for Bev and Austins trust and confidence in us as we took ownership in May of 2024. Ski Haus is one of the oldest ski rental shops in Big Bear.  Their goal and now our goal will be to provide our customers with the best quality of winter rentals at the most affordable prices.  We will pride ourselves on our customer service, affordability and helpful staff.  Unique to our shop is the computer database system which provides a returning customer the ease of renting as we will know exactly what equipment you have previously needed and can have it set, ready & waiting for you!

We carry top name brands for rentals like Salomon, Head, & Rossignol.  We also have snowblades, snow shoes, helmets & clothing for rent.

We sell everything you could ever need or want for the harsh winter environment, from pants, jackets, gloves, snow boots & more, all at discount prices.  To supply your need for adventure we also sell many types of winter snow toys! In the spring we will transition into a PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) Hub, Hiking, Camping and Day Trippers Rental and Retail Store! Be sure to check back in the spring!
